ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Fully Automated Next-Generation Capillary Electrophoresis
Introducing the V8 Nexus! A touch screen interface, user-defined, auto capillary conditioning, faster turnaround, integration of CE and zone data with the advanced reporting and tracking of the Myeloma Module and improved separation of protein and are just a few of the big advances of this system.
The V8 Nexus features eight capillaries and six on-board reagent positions that enable full multi-assay functionality and high throughput. A superior sample handling system allows continuous loading of samples with autodilutions and auto-preparation of SPIFE sample trays for additional testing by gel electrophoresis.
PLATINUM and QuickScan Software
Platinum 4V system software provides a comprehensive set of analytical tools and user-defined options for ease of operations. The V8 can also use QuickScan Touch densitometer software for editing, reviewing and reporting. Previous patient data from the QuickScan, such as IFE results, can be included on the capillary electrophoresis reports.
- Drive/control V8 functionality
- Advanced editing tools
- Statistical calculation and display
- Bi-directional communication with host network
- Multiple search parameters with overlay capacity
- Full audit trail accountability
- QC and validation using LeveyJennings
HIGHLIGHTED NEXUS FEATURES
Multi-Assay
Simultaneous separation of multiple assays using all eight capillaries and reagent positions
Auto Pilot
Select assays, load samples and close the lid – it’s as simple as that – all reagents and buffers are held on-board
Random Access
Continuous loading of up to 112 primary sample tubes for high throughput with the flexibility to insert urgent samples
QuickScan Software
Makes the management, analysis and interpretation of results simple, accurate and efficient, including bi-directional network communication. Same editing and reporting platform for both zone and CE for increased efficiency
Smart Sampling
Intelligent identification and recall of abnormal samples for confirmatory testing; integrated sample handling for gel electrophoresis preparation
Easy Audit
Total audit trail accountability including patient identification, reagent lot numbers and expiration dates, and security protection
Future Proof
Built-in flexibility for product evolution and a high-tech modular platform to provide supplementary chemistry space for buffers and reagents
Myeloma Module
Unifies current and historic patient data into a single portal for interpreting, tracking and reviewing; can be combined with SPIFE zone results
